Kría Cottages offers three cottages, close to Borgarnes. The cottages are in the land of Skeljabrekka, right under the majestic Brekkufjall. The location is perfect if you want to drive around and explore the natural wonders of West Iceland. Day trips can be made to Deildartunguhver Hot Spring, Barnafossar & Hraunfossar (Lava Waterfalls), Húsafell, Snæfellsnes peninsula, dip into the numerous natural hot springs in the area or go hiking.
The cottages are located by the beautiful Andakílsá (Andakíls river), where birdlife is rich, the sunsets are magnificent and the northern lights dance around the sky during winter. The views from the cottages are breathtaking, over the surrounding countries, and you can see as far as Snæfellsjökull glacier!
Cottage 1: cozy cottage with river view
Size: 60 m2
This lovely cottage has 2 bedrooms with 120 cm beds, a living room with a 140 cm sleeping sofa, a dining room, and a spacious fully equipped kitchen with a stove and an oven. A shower and toilet are in two separate rooms, which is convenient when many guests stay simultaneously. The cottage is rented out with made-up beds and towels.
Cottage 2, Cozy cottage with river view
Size: 12 m2
This small but smartly designed cottage houses 2-3 people. When you enter, there is a small kitchenette followed by the main area with a 120 cm sleeping couch and a top bunk bed. There is a bathroom with a toilet and a sink in the cottage, but please note that there is no shower. The cottage can be rented alone or together with the other cottages. Towels are included, but bedding costs 500 ISK per person.

Size: 40 m2
This modern cottage has one bedroom with a 140 cm bed, a living room with a 140 cm sleeping sofa, a dining room, and a kitchen. The bathroom is spacious, with a walk-in shower.
